Subject: Mike Rogers, Republican nominee for U.S. Senate in Michigan, 2026, former U.S. Representative for MI-8 and 2024 Senate nominee, against Democrat Abdul El-Sayed Compiled: October 25, 2026 for the On Point Politics watchdog database, onpointpolitics.us Data cutoff: FEC data through September 30, 2026 as compiled by VoteLog, pre-general figures through October 14, 2026, independent expenditures through October 23, 2026. Next scheduled data drop: FEC 48 hour reports through Election Day and the post-general report due December 3, 2026, which should show any UDP transfer to Great Lakes Conservatives Fund.

Bottom line up front

Rogers lost to Elissa Slotkin in 2024 by just over 19,000 votes, bridgemi.com. This time he trails El-Sayed in hard dollars but leads in cash and outside support. VoteLog shows $20,565,706 raised and $6,527,471 cash through September 30, 2026, and $132,512,494 in outside money benefiting him against $69,975,072 for El-Sayed, votelog.org.

Interests with money and a live decision:

  1. Party and Trump world. SLF at $40,657,615 and No Going Back PAC at $32,709,224 lead his outside side. SLF pledged more than $45 million in April.
  2. Pro-Israel. NORPAC and RJC PAC gave directly, and Newsweek, relaying another outlet, says AIPAC's UDP is moving up to $9 million into Great Lakes Conservatives Fund after the October 14 disclosure deadline, newsweek.com.
  3. Tech, finance and data centers. He held board seats at AT&T, Nokia and Telefonica, sits on Forgepoint Capital's advisory council and holds a Blackstone REIT stake with heavy data center exposure. Seven Blackstone employees gave $34,500, planetdetroit.org. He backs a one year data center moratorium.
  4. Billionaire and corporate donors. Ken Griffin maxed out; Timothy M. Dunn gave $5,000,000 to Great Lakes Conservatives Fund; the DeVos owned Alticor PAC gave.

Committee structure and treasurer

The FEC candidate ID S4MI00595 appears in a search result for the FEC candidate page, which was not opened. The committee name, ID and treasurer were not verified. Spokesperson Alyssa Brouillet speaks for him. VoteLog shows $5,505,283 in transfers from authorized committees and 174 PACs giving $1,061,961.

Party and Trump world

Documented. The NRSC gave $62,000 on August 27, 2025. No Going Back PAC is funded by MAGA Inc. at $200,000,000 across races. AFP Action counts $19,260,356 and America PAC $8,594,475 for him; America PAC's donors are not on the page. Rogers vowed to stand with Trump and repeated some false 2020 claims, per Bridge.

Inference: Outside groups supply most of his paid voice, as in 2024. His leverage with leadership is low and theirs with him is high.

Pro-Israel

Documented. NORPAC gave $19,590 from September 14 to 30, 2026 and RJC PAC $11,121 across four dates, per VoteLog. Great Lakes Conservatives Fund raised $9.1 million in the third quarter, per Bridge, with Conservative Americans PAC at $10,140,000 and Timothy M. Dunn at $5,000,000 as top funders. Rogers said of AIPAC help, I'll take all of that help, newsweek.com. He launched Democrats for Mike Rogers in Detroit on August 20, 2026. That group, renamed Together for Michigan, reported $50,000 from Great Lakes Conservatives Fund and $25,000 from American Unity PAC, latintimes.com.

Inference: A Democrats branded group funded by the main pro-Rogers super PAC is a disclosure flag worth watching.

Tech, finance and data centers

Documented. PolitiFact reports board seats at AT&T, Nokia and Telefonica, over $1 million in corporate advising and consulting payments on his 2023 disclosure, and a $30,000 payment from lobbying firm CGCN Group before his 2024 run. It found he was never a registered lobbyist, api.politifact.com. Planet Detroit reports his July 2026 disclosure lists $100,001 to $250,000 in Blackstone Real Estate Income Trust, which has 29 percent of its portfolio in data centers. It also relays The Lever's count of $1.7 million to $2.6 million in holdings that could benefit from tech and AI policy. Blackstone helps finance the $16 billion Oracle and OpenAI data center in Saline Township. He did not answer whether he would divest.

Inference: His moratorium stance runs against his own holdings, which is a point in his favor on independence, but his endorsement of Trump's AI permitting framework points the other way.

Own finances and disclosure history

Per PolitiFact: non property assets of $415,600 to $605,600 in 2015; a 2025 disclosure listing $6.7 million to $13.5 million in assets with his wife and no debt; an estimated total of $10.1 million to $16.9 million with property; homes in Michigan, Virginia and Florida assessed at about $3.2 million in total.

Enforcement and controversies

  • Pharma lobbyist claim. El-Sayed's claim of a $14 million pharma lobbyist payout was rated Pants on Fire. Rogers sent a cease and desist on June 22, 2026, api.politifact.com.
  • 2020 and 2024 election claims. Bridge reports he repeated some false 2020 claims and questioned his own 2024 loss, which Slotkin disputed, bridgemi.com.
  • Together for Michigan. The Rogers campaign did not respond about a $30,000 payment the group made to Melanie Rutherford, latintimes.com.
  • No FEC or ethics matter was found in sources read.
