What is on file for my candidate? A file on every member of Congress, governor and 2026 nominee: who funds them, the decisions on their desk, and the sources.
Mike Collins
Republican, running for U.S. Senate. Now U.S. House GA-10.
Subject: Mike Collins, Republican U.S. Representative for Georgia's 10th District and 2026 Republican nominee for U.S. Senate, winner of the June 16 runoff Compiled: October 25, 2026 for the On Point Politics watchdog database, onpointpolitics.us Data cutoff: September 30, 2026 FEC quarterly figures as reported October 15, 2026. Next scheduled data drop: FEC pre general report covering through October 14, 2026, then the post general report due December 3, 2026.
Bottom line up front
Collins is badly outraised and trails in public polling. He reported $2.7 million in third quarter receipts and just over $1.1 million in cash, against Ossoff's $33 million and $26 million, per the Georgia Recorder on October 15, 2026, georgiarecorder.com. An AJC and UGA poll fielded October 7 to 15 had Ossoff ahead 48 to 40, per Fox 5 Atlanta, fox5atlanta.com.
Interests that combine money and a decision:
- Party and leadership. The Senate Leadership Fund is his main air cover. Fox 5 reports SLF canceled $7.6 million in Georgia reservations and would not say whether it still plans to spend $44 million for him.
- Crypto and finance. Collins is one of the most active crypto traders in Congress, a claim PolitiFact rated True, politifact.com. A Senate seat gives him a vote on digital asset rules.
- Trucking and transportation. His family trucking company is worth as much as $25 million, per the AJC, ajc.com, and he sits on House Transportation and Infrastructure.
Committee structure and treasurer
The roster lists FEC candidate IDs S6GA00390 for Senate and H4GA10071 for the House. The committee name, committee ID and treasurer were not verified because fec.gov is blocked. Spokesmen quoted in 2026 are Corbin Keown and Meyer Siegfried. Current House committees per the roster: Natural Resources; Transportation and Infrastructure; and Science, Space, and Technology.
Scale. Legis1 reported about $4.88 million raised and about $2.1 million in cash as of June 16, 2026, legis1.com. He raised $2.1 million in the second quarter and $2.7 million in the third.
Party and leadership
Documented. Legis1 reported SLF PAC spent about $11.8 million against Ossoff as of October 13, 2026, legis1.com. Fox 5 reported on October 21 that SLF canceled $7.6 million in Georgia reservations. Senate Majority Leader John Thune campaigned with Collins in September, and a Trump rally in Dalton was scheduled for the Friday after October 15, per the Georgia Recorder.
Against him, as of October 13: about $7.05 million from The Georgia Way, a super PAC SMP formed in 2020, ballotpedia.org; about $3.38 million from Lower Costs Now; and $470,000 from J Street Action Fund, paid to Gambit Strategies LLC for digital ads on reported ties of his circle to white nationalists.
Inference: Collins depends on outside money more than on his own committee. The SLF cancellation is the clearest signal of how national Republicans rate the race.
Crypto and finance
Documented. The AJC estimated net crypto purchases of $68,026 to $495,000 since January 2023 and holdings of $118,005 to $345,000, with more than a dozen trades in 2025. He reported $1,001 to $2,500 in crypto earnings for 2025. His spokesman acknowledged two 2023 transactions were filed late and late fees were paid, and called claims that he hid trades "a desperate smear." PolitiFact cites a Forbes report that he bought up to $150,000 of a meme coin before it crashed and a Campaign Legal Center ranking of him as the third most active crypto trader in Congress for 2023 and 2024. His campaign did not respond to PolitiFact.
What they want. The crypto industry wants favorable market structure rules. Collins has said Washington and Wall Street have stigmatized crypto for too long.
Inference: No crypto industry money to Collins was found in sources read. The conflict question is his own portfolio against his future votes, which is structural rather than an accusation.
Trucking and transportation
Documented. Collins Family Enterprises, the family trucking company, is worth as much as $25 million and paid $100,001 to $1 million in income in 2025, per the AJC. He sits on House Transportation and Infrastructure. No trucking industry PAC money was found in sources read.
Inference: Surface transportation and freight rules are the decisions where his business and his votes overlap. This is flagged for the next pass.
Own finances and disclosure history
Multimillionaire per the AJC, with the trucking company, crypto, IRAs and 401k accounts, and his wife's retirement accounts. Two 2023 crypto trades were filed late.
Enforcement and controversies
- House Ethics review. An Office of Congressional Conduct report released January 5, 2026 found substantial reason to believe Collins used congressional funds to pay chief of staff Brandon Phillips for unauthorized purposes and that an intern described by witnesses as Phillips's girlfriend was paid more than $5,000 without doing the work, per the AJC, ajc.com, and The Current, thecurrentga.org. The report says Collins and staff did not cooperate and recommends subpoenas. Collins's office called it a bogus complaint and "a sad attempt to derail" him; attorney Russell Duncan says it came from two disgruntled former staff and asked for dismissal. Outcome not found. Status Contested.
- Staff and extremism reports. After a Slate report in July 2026 on a group chat involving Nick Fuentes and Richard Spencer, Collins replaced a chief of staff. An August 2026 report said a former staffer posted Nazi and KKK imagery. At the October 13 debate Collins said "I condemn any kind of hate speech," per Courthouse News, courthousenews.com.
- Late crypto filings. Acknowledged; fees paid.
